Event Producer Patty Ladas has been planning and coordinating events since high school.  (Organizing high school wrestling tournaments with over 20 high schools was a clear indication that planning events were a passion for Patty.)

During college, she worked for five years on the Greek Folk Dance & Choral Festival. Starting as a Hospitality Coordinator and ending as Managing Director, she lead a team of 20 during a multi-day dance competition with over 5000 attendees.  That same year as Managing Director, she also chaired the Assumption Long Beach Greek Orthodox church food & culture festival over Labor Day weekend, and got married the week after! 

In the corporate world, Patty organized and executed monthly roundtable meetings for CEOs and Executives of Health and Technology companies.  After that, she worked for a premier educational company, organizing meetings and travel for executives, quarterly meetings for District Managers across the country.  Patty's duties eventually involved large scale projects of moving entire retail stores, or downsizing stores while still remaining open to the public. Finally before leaving to go out on her own, she organized and managed the company's annual sales meeting for all district and store managers, including travel for over 100 people, off site activities, and awards banquet.

In order to spend more time with her family and have a work schedule she can control, Patty purchased a wedding and baptism essential items business (Special Touches) from the original, retiring owner, and add event planning services. From there, Ladas Events was born and officially a Full Wedding & Event Planning Service.
